Blackberry z10

The new BlackBerry Z10. Blackberry's new flagship product with over 100,000 apps, a 4.3 inch touch screen and the new blackberry hub. A new balance feature that allows you to switch from home and play. 4G LTE for lightning fast web browsing.

Now here's what they don't tell you. There are only about 20 apps that people actually use. Facebook, Twitter, News 360, Flipboard, Paypal, Banking, Google Drive, Docs to go, Flixster, Cineplex, The Score, Ebay, DropBox, Youtube, Skype and probably a few more.

Most of these apps are available on the Z10, too bad they were mostly created by blackberry and not even close to being made well. Most of them are even built for android and ported to blackberry. Therefore they are made for a different device and are not using the Native API because BB has not released it yet.

For example if you install a popup notification app so you get notifications like the iPhone. you have to open the app on startup and yes it will drain your battery and it is always running as an open app. Worthless if you have to turn on all your options everytime you boot.

The Facebook app is full of glitches. Same for twitter. news360 is simply the website shrunk down... OMG. Banking is non existant, paypa is terrible, Flixster is an android port, Flipboard non existant, Skype not there yet. Ebay is not even close to being good.... You get the point.

Why is blackberry always such a big disappointment? Seems like we'll have to get the canadian government to lend companies money to buy this phone ;)

note to BB. Lock your programmers in a room. focus on 100 apps, make them great and no one will care about the 99,900 apps that no one ever uses.
